I'm an artist and educator, working across media in video, installation, performance, and object-making. My work deals with the performed mediation of cities, bodies and personal narratives via lo-fi, appropriated military-industrial technologies. I've exhibited and performed internationally in a variety of contexts, most recently at the 2015 Transmediale festival in Berlin, the Edith-Russ Haus in Oldenburg, MusraraMix and Manofim Festivals in Jerusalem, ISEA 2015 in Vancouver and many other venues including Residency Unlimited NYC, the Lab in San Francisco and Hyde Park Art Center in Chicago. My work was reviewed in publications such as the Creators Project, Vice Motherboard, Art Monthly UK, Haaretz, and more. My recent show “Angels” was an Artforum Critic’s Pick for July 2014. I'm currently working on a machine for leaving my body, on an aerial map of the desert's edge from a height of 5 feet, and on an archive of alternative futurisms, among other things. I teach Expanded Media Art at Connecticut College, where I'm also an associate director of the Ammerman Center for Arts and Technology.
